Exhibition Text
Andrew J. Greene (*1988, Chicago) lives and works in Los Angeles. His most recent solo exhibition, Unconditional Surrender, was on view earlier this year at The Modern Institute, Glasgow. Yes and No, two of Greene’s works on view in the gallery’s office, include executive decision-making coins.
Madeline Hollander (*1986, Los Angeles) lives and works in New York. Her work is included in the 2019 Whitney Biennial, on view through late September at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. The tetherballs of Hollander's Sus-Sous descend following the Fibonacci sequence, tracing the trajectory of a single ball winding around the pole.
Asha Schechter (*1978, Portland) lives and works in Los Angeles. His most recent solo exhibition, people who live in glass houses love it, was on view late last year at Shane Campbell Gallery at Lincoln Park, Chicago. Of the works in this exhibition, Schechter’s pieces Silver Dustpan with C's fur, shards, Mickey, litter, and a leaf and Prius mirror from Baby Barcelona were necessarily the last ones produced.
